Happy eleventh day of the eleventh month of the eleventh year of our century. This combination of numbers won't happen again for another hundred years. Of course, it was almost a thousand years ago that it was 11/11/1111. Next time we'll have anything close to that will be 2/22/2222, and none of us will be around to witness that. So enjoy this day's palindrome while you can, because we won't see it again for a very long while (well, next December we'll have 12/12/12!) Maybe if some of us are still alive in 2034, we may see the date 1/2/34. But I'll be 76 going on 77 when that happens and I sure hope to still be around to see that date. So party like it's 11/11/11 and may you still be alive to see the next interesting sequence of date numbers.
