"Ask Not......"
A new interpretation of John F. Kennedy's memorable 1961 Inauguration speech. If you are of a certain age, you won't be able to watch this without a tear or a lump in your throat. The hope, the optimism and the grand vision expressed in this speech are inspiring even now, over 50 years after this speech was originally given. Interesting that most Presidential Inauguration speeches are remarkably forgettable and that we cannot remember what was said in them. This and Abraham Lincoln's Second Inaugural addresses are probably the two most memorable speeches ever given by Presidents of these United States. Listen to this beautiful rendering of John F. Kennedy's speech, and if you are old enough to remember this, get out your box of tissues. I dare you not to cry when you hear this.
