My bathroom is done at last!

Well, it may have taken longer than I would have liked, but my bathroom renovation is finally complete as of this afternoon. The new shower went in as well as the towel rack and toilet paper holder, so now I have a fully functional bathroom and I no longer have to go to my mom's to bathe. I can stay home and do it at my own apartment. I bought all of the decor last weekend - towels, the window curtains, the shower curtains, the bath mats, the whole thing, but have waited to be able to put it in my bathroom, and today, I was finally able to do that. It will feel so good to be able to have my shower back and be able to take a shower whenever I feel like it, or even a bath, because I asked my landlord to make it possible for me to do that as well, so now I can do that, too. I have some scented bath salts that are good for both aromatherapy as well as soothing sore muscles, something I have more of in cold weather than in warmer weather, and something I've also had more of because of not working out enough at the gym in recent months, so when I do, I really feel it. Having the bathroom finished takes a lot of stress off of me because I no longer have to plan when I can find time to go over to my mom's to take a shower. I can just hop in there whenever I want and be done with it. So for now, I am happy and content, one less thing to worry about. My apartment's renovation work is finished and now I can relax that it's over with.

There's only one problem, though - the shower curtains are too long. I'm contemplating trimming them back so I don't end up tripping on them or falling while in the tub. I don't think that they make shorter shower curtains for smaller areas like I now have. Seems the old wooden frame that used to hold up shower curtains was far taller than the metal frame that was installed to hold the new curtains, thus creating this problem of shower curtains that are far too long and need some sort of trimming back to make them fit better. I wonder if a professional tailor could do this for me without costing an arm and a leg.
